TM Performance Mk7 R Intercooler with Tube & Fin Core
This Mk7 R Intercooler replaces the stock intercooler and eliminates the two clip connectors that can cause boost leaks.
It is one of the biggest intercoolers available for EA888 GEN3 engines with the 70mm inlet and outlet compared to the standard 60mm. The core measures 650mm x 415mm x 58mm while the standard intercooler measures 610mm x 410mm x 40mm.
We have engineered these intercoolers using a tube and fin core matched to our flowed cast end tanks with directional air flow fins on the inlet side, the same as we use on our other intercoolers. This is the most efficient way to keep the intake temperatures low. They have been TIG welded and there is no trimming required to fit on most vehicles.
